Just plain ole cuteness
About 3 years ago I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.  I was relectant at first because the selfish side of me didn't want to give up the actual Thanksgiving day.   However, I really love it.  I  have a full day to cook and prepare the meal, not sure how I was ever able to accomplish that in just a few hours on the actual day,   Thanksgiving day my kids can sleep in and have the full day to themselves and then enjoy their other family.  It really is a win, win situation for all.  We had a great meal with family and friends this year.  My God has blessed me abundantly.  My heart is full of gratitude. I do hope that your holiday was blessed as well.

LOOK UP!

For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies
Lord of all to thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise!

Fall has arrived in all her  beauty. This is the view from my yard.

The sky today was AMAZING

Chilly, breezy, clear...a sweatshirt, hot tea, cuddle kind of day. Take some time to look up and enjoy the beauty of autumn.

Our church has a halloween event for our community.  It is called Ashe Bash because our church is on Ashe Road.  Hard to tell how many people come, but there is an estimate that about 3000 people came this year. Here are a few photos of the day.
