Feelin hot,hot,hot..

I am not a weather snob, really I'm not.  I just cannot wait until cooler weather. Time for pumpkins, hot cider and baking, baking, baking. I won't be sad to say goodbye to August.

I choose LOVE

No occasion justifies hatred: no injustice warrents bitterness.

I will invite my God to be the God of circumstance.

I will live forgiven. I will forgive so that I may live.

Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I'll

invite him to do so.  I will thank God for a moment

to pray .Instead of clinching my fist at new assignments, I will

face them with joy and courage.

I choose KINDNESS

I will be kind to the poor, for they are alone. Kind to the rich,

for they are afraid. And kind to the unkind, for such is

how God has treated me.

I choose GOODNESS

I will go without a dollar before I take a dishonest one. I will

be overlooked before I will boast. I will confess before

I will accuse. I choose goodness.

I choose FAITHFULNESS

Today, I will keep my promises.

My debtors will not regret their trust. My associates

will not question my word. My husband will not question my love.

and my children will never fear that I don't love them.

I choose GENTLENESS

nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle.

If I raise my voice may it be only in praise.

If I clench my fist, may it only be in prayer.

If I make a demand, may it be only of myself.

I choose SELF-CONTROL

I am a spiritual being...

After this body is dead, my spirit will soar.

I refuse to let what will rot rule the eternal.

I choose self-control. I will be drunk only with joy.

I will be impassioned only by my faith.

I will be influenced only by God.

I will be taught only by Christ.

I choose self-control.

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.

To these I commit my day.

 One  Mosquito airplane

A british bomber airplane used in WW2.




Arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon. I got a call this morning from a very anxious little boy asking if the mosquito plane has come yet.



The very excited boy and voila...



Easy happiness.  Seeing the excitement over this plane was instant, easy happiness for me too.

A project that only take a few hours to make.

Hi my name is Lois and I am a fabricaholic.

It's not quite time for an intervention yet.  I have grand and glorious plans for all this fun fabic.

The patterns for bags and totes and quilts are waiting for me. I'm really anxious to see what becomes of it all. Just looking at it is inspiring, don't you think?  Right now my favorite it the turquoise, orange and brown.  I plan to make a cosmetic bag out of that.  It is already cut out and ready to sew.  I have 2 requests for it already so I better get sewing.  I will post a photo when I'm done.  Sew long for now.
