Bible Study

A NEW way to study from a very OLD Bible.
I read the same chapter everday for a week.  This is new for me.  Don't know why I haven't ever thought of this before. This is the 3rd day of reading I Thess. chapter 1.  I am LOVING this.  Been remind 3 times how I am to mimic Christ and be an example to all.  This will be drilled into my mind  many times this week and hopefully it will be written on my heart forever. I know that the Lord will reveal much more to me as I read and study from his word. There is a lot to be said for repetition,or perhaps I am a S-L-O-W learner.

Quilting practice.

How many quilts does one have to make to actually be called a
"quilter"?
Here is my second attempt. A pattern called Vintage Baby Quilt.

Pretty easy, if you don't mind cutting 130  2 1/2 inch squares.  Just the right size for covering up a baby. As I was making it, I thought I could not imagine the time it would take to make a queen or king size quilt.  It was fun to make because you can see an end result pretty quickly.

A peddlen' we will go.

Time once again for the Peddlers Faire.... We saw lots of folk peddlen their goods...and we bought a few.
She is very excited to get started pickin.

I sooooo wanted this, but left without it  :( -ness.

Not sure why Elvis was there  but we couldn't pass up this photo-op.

Cute pink stuff.

I wanted all this AQUA furniture (WHO WOULDN'T)  but sadly left without any of it.

I eat local everyday even without being told to.

I was wondering how I would find my husband out of the crowd.  He would be the one carrying a table on his head.  The table however went home with my sis.  The twin table is being carried by her hubby, I guess he didn't want to be found.

At the pumpkin patch we ran into my other sisters.    # 1

Sister # 2

Sister # 3

Sister # 4

Just in case you wanted to ride in the wagon..There are rules....

Meet the pumpkin family.

My twin sister.

WOW those are some BIG pumpkins.   I know what you're thinkin...

Some pumpkin patch purdy-ness.  I asked Nick if we could just hitch this wagon to his truck and drive it home with us. He told me that I could have it if I could find a horse to drag it home.
