And speaking of quilts

I finally finished my granddaughters quilt.  It took for- ev-ah.... I didn't buy enough fabric so I was on a mad search looking for it.  3 stores, 3 online orders later I found it and finished it today.  I am uber excited to give it to her at her birthday party.

Spring is a-comin'

Just a reminder...Spring arrives next week.  This tree in my neighbors yard is a reminder.

My quilt obsession.

I am a quilt fanatic.  I LOVE quilts.  I rescue them whenever I can.  I am in the process of making my grandaughter a quilt for her first birthday.  I was browsing pinterest and found these beauties.  There is something so comforting and cozy about quilts.  They just make me happy.

It's time for baseball 'round here.  Opening day of baseball and my grandson is ready.

Even though we are HUGE Dodger fans his team is the Red Sox.  My boys of summer...

Pretty Primroses

While parts of the country are shoveling snow today, I got to this. Plant some pretty primroses.

I guess I am anxious for spring. A clear, cool but sunny day put me in the mood to do a bit of yard cleanup.
It was looking pretty sad this winter.  A pop of color is just what I needed today.

Already?????

I can hardly believe that she is 10 months old. There is talk of her first birthday. Such joy she has added to our family and what a blessing to us.

She is always so happy.

And always so cute.
