Since I am writing this post at 2:49 a.m. I am trying to think of quiet things that I can do. I am making a list in my head of what I would like to accomplish in November and since most of them require some sort of noisy equipment such as a sewing machine, a mixer or clanging pots and pans I won't be doing them early in the morning. I really would be able to accomplish a lot if I could work at these ridiculously early hours. So, my list of quiet things include. Reading, but I need to have a light on for that, which would wake up my sleeping husband and kind of defeat the whole quiet thing. As I type this, I have my laptop under the blankets so that the light doesn't disturb him, but then the clicking of the keyboard is kind of loud in this quiet room, so I guess blogging EARLY in the a.m. is NOT a quiet thing, I will just go back go making a mental list in my head of what I would like to accomplish in November and do them all during the day, and hopefully drift back off into dreamland. I wonder what I can accomplish in my dreams.
Ha! iPad keyboards are quiet and you can adjust the brightness! Making my quiet mental list is WHAT keeps me awake at night!
ReplyDeleteOh dear.....should I be an enabler? All those things you mentioned are why I adore my iPad. Well, not the sewing and cooking, but I download books from the county library for free and read those - no light needed, I can type up lists that are emailed to me, and I can blog and comment to my hearts content. Ask for one for Christmas. Tell hubs it will him get more sleep! LOL
