My first ETSY purchase... Crochet heart valentines. I couldn't resist, and just had to share the love.

A boy, a butterfly and a beach.

We spend the day Friday in Pismo Beach. We went to the butterfly grove. Clusters of butterlies are there from Nov-Feb. and it is fascinating to see. Micah saw a butterfly on the ground. He picked up small stick and put it next to the butterfly and it attached itself to the stick. The docent told me that she had never seen that happen before. We then went and spent some time at the beach playing in the sand and running from the waves. The weather was perfect, the day was perfect and the company was perfect.

What a difference a haircut makes.

AFTER... what happened to that little boy? When he came to show me his haircut,he said Gramma, I'm the same boy with just a different haircut. He is the same sweet boy he just looks so much older.

I love going to the Rose Bowl flea market and would decorate my house in total flea market treasures if I could. I roam the aisles and my see such cute things. I am planning another trip in March, this time I am taking my husbands truck hoping to return with just the treasures I cannot live without.

My new table...

I wish.... I went to the Rose Bowl flea market a few weeks ago. I saw this table and chairs and flipped. I so want to paint my table like this. I am searching for paint colors and may give this a try. Isn't it grand?

HAPPY NEW YEAR and what is that????


I welcomed in 2013 with friends.  We played pictionary and we had to draw movie titles. My husband drew this thing......some guessed Alien, Silence of the Lamb and no one guessed Shrek, shocker, I know.
