A pretty pumpkin patch and a pig named Pancake.
When you enter this gate you will experience October in all her splendor. A local farmer who sells pumpkins on his property. A lake, a barn, old wooden wagons full of pumpkins, fields of sunflowers, a corn maze, animals, a pig named Pancake, and a really cute little girl (my granddaughter). This is my happy place.

Another Saturday, another flea market.
Oh how I love flea markets. Seeing the vintage, old stuff that I remember my mom using when I was a kid. Moms throw the stuff out, we buy it back , we throw it out, our kids buy it back and so the cycle of flea market can continue for future generations. There were lots of treasures to be found. This red Volkswagen with the turquoise accessories, who wouldn't want this..... LOVE

A flea market and a friend.
I grabbed my friend and we went on a road trip. We drove an hour and a half to The Three Speckled Hens flea market in search of treasures, old stuff, antiques and junk. We found it all. We both fell in love with this old yellow hutch but we had neither the money nor space in the car. We did, however come home with a vintage table cloth, glass jars and bottles, a galvanized pail and heart and 3 pomagranates that we pulled off the road to pick. I think that might have been illegal. I felt so Thelma and Louise-ish. A fun day.

What I saw at the Fair.
Lots of fried stuff, souvenirs, carney rides, funnel cakes and my sons band played at the Frontier stands.

Goodbye 5, hello Six
These words were spoken by my grandson on the eve of his birthday. Where has the time gone.
I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

I'm trying to FALL folks.
If only the weather will co-operate. I put out a few things today but the warm temps made this chore short lived. I have a little sewing project to complete for a few folks so that they may FALL also. So with my AC on I will persevere and think of cooler days ahead.
