I'm trying to FALL folks.

If only the weather will co-operate. I put out a few things today but the warm temps made this chore short lived.  I have a little sewing project to complete for a few folks so that they may FALL also.  So with my AC on I will persevere and think of cooler days ahead.

Laundry

See how cute laundry looks in my cart?  It makes me smile, I (almost) whistle while I work. It takes so little to make me happy.;)

Summer Vacation

A week in the mountains. The Sequoia Mountains.  Lots of big, tall trees that dropped large pine cones. LARGE pine cones that drop and dent my car.  We walked to the lake, fed the ducks, ate s'mores.

A day with my granddaughter

Her mama had the flu, her daddy had jury duty so I got to spend most to the day with her.  I am madly in love with this little cutie.  Her hair is just the best. We had a day full of playtime.  She love bubbles, swinging on the patio swing, and toys.

Happily better after.

The laundry cart  makeover..
The cart before.

The cart after.
I was going to paint it but I like the old, chippy yellow
paint. It looks old and well worn.
This makes toting my laundry out of the dryer to be folded much more enjoyable.

Decorating on a budget.

It can be done.  We rummaged through the garage of the home where the reception was being held.
We found some baskets, and old mirror, wheel barrow and pitch fork.  It helped that the backyard was gorgeous.  The bride was beyond thrilled and we were blessed to have been given the opportunity to help.
We were trying to make this ugly air conditioner not so noticeable. This was the entrance
to the yard of the reception.

Sunflowers bouquets.

I didn't notice that a flower was upside down. OY...
